No Boy Summer

After a year of relationship disasters, Lydia and Penny Jones agree that their summer should be free of boys. Staying with their aunt in Los Angeles gives the sisters a chance to enjoy each other’s company and try something different. Penny takes an internship, while Lydia starts working at a neighborhood coffee shop and finds a new circle of friends. She also meets Fran, an aspiring filmmaker whose interest in her is unmistakably mutual. Lydia can see a convenient distinction between breaking their agreement and dating a girl, but keeping that distinction from Penny feels less comfortable than she expected. As her new relationship develops, she must consider what the pact meant to her sister and what honesty requires now.
