In Her Spotlight

Tess Gardner wants audiences to see an actor rather than the sparkling superhero who made her famous. A stage role promises that chance, until a director's scandal brings in an unexpected replacement: Rebecca Frisch, the woman Tess hurt during summer stock more than a decade ago. Working together reopens the attraction and the unfinished business of their earlier relationship. Tess's celebrity also follows her backstage, making privacy and professional boundaries difficult to maintain. While Rebecca has built a life beyond their shared past, Tess is still navigating an industry she believes will punish her for coming out. A second chance requires more than chemistry; it asks Tess to decide whose expectations will govern her future.
