In this continuation of My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness, Nagata turns the diary form into a conversation with herself, tracing small advances alongside setbacks. Anxiety, self-esteem, sexuality and the desire to be understood remain part of ordinary daily decisions. The result is an autobiographical account of what comes after speaking publicly about private pain, when becoming more visible does not automatically make connection or self-acceptance easier.
