The story
Jude has built her life around the small Ontario town where she works as an archivist. Síle, a flight attendant based in Dublin, is used to movement, cities, and a world that stretches far beyond one community. A chance encounter during Jude’s first plane trip brings their very different lives into contact. As their connection grows, maintaining it means navigating calls, travel, distance, and the people who already belong to their separate worlds. Love asks each woman to consider what she might change, but neither can treat the place she calls home as an incidental detail. Their long-distance relationship becomes a question of how to build a shared future without losing the lives that made them who they are.
