If the Shoe Fits

Jana Fleischer has dated men and avoided making the kind of commitment that might seriously disrupt her life. Her friendship with Brooke Donnelly does not initially seem likely to change that. Yet the more time they spend together, the less comfortable Jana becomes with the assumptions she has always made about herself. Affection begins to carry a different meaning, and a relationship she values becomes entangled with questions she has never needed to ask. Set within the Ask, Tell world, this romance follows Jana as she considers what she wants and what she is prepared to risk for it. Exploring an unexpected attraction also means finding the courage to let someone know her differently.
