Going Bicoastal

Natalya Fox must decide where to spend the summer: New York with her father and the girl she has admired from afar, or Los Angeles with the mother from whom she has grown distant. The choice seems to offer two incompatible futures, so the novel follows both. In alternating timelines, Natalya explores a city, negotiates family relationships and begins to work out what she wants from the years ahead. One path brings romance with a girl; the other introduces a boy she did not anticipate. Her bisexuality remains part of her in either version. This young-adult romantic comedy considers how different choices can produce equally meaningful discoveries, without requiring a single correct route toward love or self-knowledge.
