Flinging It
2016
The story
Frazer's work as a head midwife in Perth puts her alongside families who need meaningful support, and a program for vulnerable parents brings her into contact with social worker Cora. Their shared professional concerns offer common ground, but the attraction developing between them creates a much less straightforward problem. Cora is married to Frazer's boss, and dissatisfaction within that marriage does not remove the consequences of crossing a line. As the women grow closer, desire becomes entangled with workplace pressures and responsibilities to other people. This contemporary romance follows a relationship formed under morally difficult circumstances, asking what honesty and change might require when a promising connection begins where it should not.
