Dead Pretty

Special Agent Dak Farrell is used to moving from one cold case to the next. An assignment in Salt Lake City keeps her in one place long enough to notice her neighbour, former television mortician Callie Johnson. CJ has returned home after the cancellation of her show leaves her career and finances in disarray. Attraction offers both women an unexpected distraction, until CJ's work puts her directly in a serial killer's sights. The murderer treats victims as artistic creations, and CJ's intervention makes her a target. Dak must pursue the investigation with the knowledge that the woman she is growing close to may be next.
