Consecrated Ground

Joan Matthews left her family's traditions behind to become a war witch, fighting vampires directly instead of binding protective spells into the land. Her father's death brings her back to Calvert, Oregon, where repeated attacks threaten the town he once helped defend. Returning also means facing Leigh Phan, the woman whose choices after Joan's departure left them divided. Leigh now carries a secret that makes survival uncertain and forces her to consider trusting Joan again. With a vampire lord pressing the town toward destruction, old disagreements cannot remain their only concern. The women must confront what happened between them while deciding how to protect both Calvert and each other.
