Cold

Todd Mayer's body is found in a snowy park, and Todd himself can only watch as a ghost while investigators try to explain his death. As they question the people around him, he revisits the events that brought him there. Georgia did not know Todd, yet she cannot stop thinking about the murdered boy. Both were queer outsiders at school, and she suspects she may have seen him somewhere that matters. Their alternating perspectives approach the same mystery from different sides: one looking back at a life already ended, the other trying to understand what people are withholding. This young-adult thriller follows the consequences of silence, social isolation and secrets kept too long.
