Broken Beyond Repair

Sydney MacKenzie is ready to leave personal-assistant work behind for a well-earned holiday in her camper van. An expensive mechanical problem instead sends her to the country estate of Beatrice Russell, a famous actress recovering from a broken leg. The temporary job could pay for Sydney's escape, if she can tolerate Beatrice's demands long enough to finish it. Attraction makes the arrangement harder to keep strictly professional. As their summer together continues, Sydney begins to see the vulnerable person beneath the actress's difficult public armour. With Beatrice due to return to filming, both women face the question of what their connection can become beyond a period of enforced closeness.
