Bluebird

Rig has abandoned the faction that once claimed her loyalty, taking valuable technology with her. She would prefer to keep moving, but a threat against her twin sister makes disappearing an inadequate plan. Recovering a chance at safety means working with a bounty hunter and navigating the competing powers that divide the galaxy. Rig also has attachments she cannot reduce to tactical decisions, including a girlfriend whose life remains connected to the conflict. Pursuit turns into a larger confrontation with the systems she hoped to escape. As practical alliances become more complicated, Rig must choose what to protect and whether freedom can mean more than staying one step ahead of those who want her back.
