When the witch who lives beyond the town comes to claim a companion, Mina volunteers for a fate everyone around her fears. Inside the witch’s castle, unfamiliar routines and unsettling silences give way to a growing fascination with the woman who has taken her in. Yet the absence of earlier companions remains impossible to ignore. As Mina searches for answers, attraction complicates her sense of danger.
