Anita

Dr Anita Oliver has been drawn into the aftermath of the Four Point Killer investigation, working alongside federal and Seattle law-enforcement efforts. The people affected by the case need care, and Anita is accustomed to making their recovery her priority. Remaining useful gives her a familiar role, but it does not resolve what the experience has done to her own life. As survivors try to move forward, she finds herself increasingly alone with consequences she cannot simply manage on someone else’s behalf. This opening Four Point Universe story follows a doctor whose instinct to help others leaves her facing a more difficult task: recognising the support and attention that she needs herself.
