A Dark and Hollow Star

A series of murders threatens to expose the hidden faerie world beneath modern Toronto. Four young people become entangled in the danger: Arlo, whose mixed heritage makes her vulnerable to the courts; Nausicaä, an exiled Fury; Vehan, a faerie prince; and Aurelian, his guardian. Their loyalties and histories give them different reasons to investigate, but finding the killer requires an uneasy alliance. Growing feelings between Arlo and Nausicaä add another complication as the mystery deepens. This urban fantasy opens the Hollow Star Saga with a collision of court politics, ancient powers and young people whose survival may depend on trusting one another.
