The Sleeper Car

After a breakup, novelist Kendall Lamb boards a luxury train through Alaska hoping for a change of scene. A room mix-up introduces her to Harper Lambert, and an unexpected night together briefly makes the journey look more promising. By morning Harper is missing, another passenger has been murdered, and Kendall finds herself under suspicion. The train’s planned murder-mystery entertainment offers little reassurance when fiction and danger begin to overlap. With sabotage adding to the uncertainty, Kendall must work out which parts of the journey are a performance and which could cost someone a life. Finding Harper becomes inseparable from understanding what is happening aboard the Aleut Queen, where escape is considerably harder than turning the page.
