The Single Matchmaker
The story
Libby Cassanova has finally taken charge of the matchmaking business built by generations of women in her family. Her own broken engagement is hardly the advertisement she needs. To protect her professional reputation, she hires artist Reagan Soto to pose as her girlfriend, treating the arrangement as a practical solution to an inconvenient secret. Reagan accepts the work for the money but soon becomes curious about the woman behind Libby’s polished public image. Playing a couple brings them into an intimacy that is increasingly difficult to separate from real feeling. For Libby, whose expertise lies in finding everyone else a partner, the challenge is recognizing a possibility she never thought to consider for herself.
