Interior designer Jay Burns has invested eight years in a relationship she is not ready to abandon, even as its problems become harder to dismiss. An accidental encounter with landscape designer Drew Montgomery introduces a new connection at an especially uncertain moment. Their work and personal lives bring them together again, allowing friendship to develop alongside an attraction neither can comfortably ignore. Jay wants to honor the commitment she has already made, but doing so becomes more painful as her existing relationship unravels. Between the loss of something familiar and the possibility of beginning again, she must decide what loyalty means when love changes.
