The Book of Blood and Roses

Rebecca Charity enters a university in the Scottish Highlands under false pretenses. A vampire hunter seeking a lost book, she hopes its knowledge will help her avenge her parents. Her assigned roommate is Aliz Astra, a vampire from an influential family and an immediate challenge to Rebecca's certainty about her enemies. Suspicion and attraction become harder to separate when Aliz saves her from an attack and accidentally binds Rebecca to her as a Familiar. Breaking that connection requires cooperation, even as Rebecca's mission depends on concealment. The opening Callisto Chronicles novel brings an undercover hunter and a vampire into an uneasy partnership where learning the truth about each other could change everything.
