Squad

Becca arrives at a new high school expecting to struggle for a place. Instead, the most popular girls invite her into their circle, offering the kind of effortless belonging she has never had. Their secret makes that invitation far more consequential than it first appears: they are werewolves, and they hunt boys who prey on girls. Becca accepts a transformation that promises friendship and power, but life inside the pack soon becomes less straightforward. Attraction to one of her new friends complicates her loyalties, while the group’s violence raises questions they cannot easily dismiss. This graphic horror story follows the dangerous overlap between wanting acceptance and surrendering the right to question what belonging requires.
