Some Desperate Glory

Kyr has been raised on Gaea Station to avenge the destruction of Earth. Military discipline and devotion to humanity’s lost home have given her a purpose she rarely questions. Then the future assigned to her is revealed: instead of fighting, she is expected to bear children for the station. Her brother faces a different but equally brutal fate. Refusing those orders sends Kyr beyond the narrow world that formed her, accompanied by people she has been taught to distrust. Outside the station, history and identity become harder to separate from propaganda. This space opera follows a young woman forced to reconsider what she believes, whom she serves and what freedom might actually demand.
