Purposefully Accidental

Wren Acker is enjoying professional success and the affection of a large queer fanbase, but celebrity leaves little space for privacy. A car accident brings an older problem back into focus when the doctor treating her turns out to be Madison Taylor, someone she hurt at camp years earlier. Madison has not forgotten, and their reunion becomes even more complicated when she takes a medical-consultant role on Wren's set. Soon outsiders begin treating them as a couple, creating a public narrative neither can easily control. This sapphic romance combines an old grievance with the pressure of a supposed relationship, as two women confront the distance between how they are seen and what they actually feel.
