Pulling the Goalie

Amy “Teddy” Tedesco should be celebrating a championship season with the Boston Wicked. Instead, an injury from a violent collision has left the goalie frightened of returning to the ice, a fear she can barely admit to herself. Actress Anne Montclair needs a hockey expert to prepare her for a demanding film role. Determined to prove that her success comes from talent rather than family connections, she wants Teddy as her coach. Their arrangement offers each woman a route back toward the career she wants. But training together brings an attraction that neither can neatly separate from the work. As confidence, ambition and intimacy become tangled, Teddy and Anne must reconsider what success could look like beyond their original plans.
