Outrun the Wind

Kahina finds refuge among Artemis’s huntresses after escaping her life as an oracle. Membership offers protection but demands obedience, including a prohibition on falling in love. Saving Atalanta during a failed mission breaks one rule and sends Kahina on a dangerous task to regain the goddess’s favor. In Arkadia, she encounters Atalanta again, now facing pressure to marry. Their growing connection leads them to devise a race intended to deter prospective husbands, but the contest draws attention from men linked to both their pasts. Kahina must navigate divine expectations alongside feelings that threaten another rule. This mythological reimagining brings two young women together in a struggle over who controls their futures.
