Sweet Clarity

Clarity Jones and Hannah Fitzpatrick find an unexpected connection at a Christian summer camp. Their feelings for each other offer a kind of recognition that the expectations surrounding them do not easily accommodate. Once the summer ends, family pressure and the need to keep their relationship hidden make the future feel far less simple. A school project later puts them back in one another's orbit, reopening both the affection and the questions they could not settle before. This young adult romance follows two girls negotiating love, faith and the fear of disappointing people who matter to them. Reconnecting means deciding whether their feelings can have a place in the lives they are expected to lead.
