Margo Zimmerman Gets the Girl

Margo Zimmerman approaches most challenges by studying hard and finding someone who can teach her. Realizing she is gay seems to call for the same strategy. Abbie Sokoloff appears to have the confidence and experience Margo lacks, but Abbie has an academic problem of her own: a failing history grade threatens her college plans. They arrange an exchange of tutoring, with Margo providing schoolwork support and Abbie offering an introduction to queer life. What begins as a practical bargain becomes less straightforward as they spend time together. Margo’s questions about identity gradually intersect with a more specific desire, forcing both girls to consider feelings that do not fit neatly into their lesson plan.
