Make My Wish Come True

Teen actor Arden James needs a new public image after her reputation threatens a coveted role. Returning to her Christmas-loving hometown gives her a plan: convince everyone that she and Caroline Beckett have been secretly dating. Caroline, once Arden’s best friend and first admirer, has spent four years trying to forget being left behind. A promised magazine byline is persuasive enough to draw the aspiring journalist into the arrangement. Twelve staged holiday dates should help both girls get what they want. Instead, familiar hurt and unexpected tenderness complicate the performance. As their pretend romance becomes harder to contain, Arden and Caroline must decide what they actually mean to each other.
