Godslayers

The Gearbreakers’ attack on Godolia has left the rebellion scattered and its survivors hunted. Eris is a prisoner, desperate to discover what became of Sona, the girl she loves. Learning that Sona survived brings no simple relief: Godolia’s remaining leader has subjected her to cybernetic brainwashing, turning her into a loyal soldier of the empire they fought together. With a new programme threatening children from the Badlands, the conflict continues to expand even as the rebels’ resources collapse. Eris and Sona now stand on opposing sides of the war. Their connection may be essential to what happens next, but memory, loyalty and survival no longer mean the same things to them.
