Girls Like Girls

After her mother’s death, seventeen-year-old Coley moves to rural Oregon and struggles to imagine where she belongs. Meeting Sonya creates the possibility of connection, but their attraction comes with questions neither girl finds easy to answer. Coley wants to trust what is developing between them, while Sonya is confronting feelings for another girl for the first time. Loss, fear and the expectations around them complicate a relationship that could offer both comfort and change. Inspired by Hayley Kiyoko’s song and music video, the novel follows two young women learning to recognize their desires and decide whether they can make room for each other.
