Girls at the Edge of the World

A catastrophic flood is approaching, and passage to safety is reserved for a chosen few. Natasha Koskinen leads the royal court’s aerial performers and is determined that her troupe will not be left behind. Courting Prince Nikolai appears to offer a route onto the evacuation list, even if it requires reshaping herself to suit his expectations. New performer Ella Neves has a very different purpose: revenge matters more to her than survival. As the two women become drawn to each other, their competing plans threaten the fragile future Natasha is trying to secure. Rising waters give urgency to choices about loyalty, desire and the lengths someone will go to protect a found family.
