For the Long Run

Shan Metz’s sporting ambitions collapse when a charity runner in a koala costume trips her during a fun run. A damaged knee puts the Commonwealth Games out of reach, and recovering in a fourth-floor apartment looks almost as daunting. The runner responsible, Lizzie Carras, offers Shan her spare room out of guilt. Sharing a home does little to improve their first impressions: their habits clash, Shan is frustrated, and her possessive training partner Celia adds another complication. Yet the arrangement forces both women to see beyond the accident that brought them together. Recovery becomes a test of more than Shan’s patience as an inconvenient attraction develops between reluctant housemates.
