Fire Logic

Zanja Na’Tarwein has survived the destruction of her people, but survival leaves her with loss that cannot be easily put aside. In occupied Shaftal, she encounters Karis, a powerful woman whose gifts are obscured by addiction, and Emil, an officer caught in the struggle over the country’s future. Their lives become entangled as resistance, obligation and personal attachment pull them in competing directions. Elemental abilities offer possibilities without removing the human costs of using them. The first Elemental Logic novel follows a damaged community’s search for a different future through characters who must live with what violence has already taken. Zanja’s bond with Karis is part of this wider exploration of power, care and rebuilding.
