Extasia

Becoming a saint should give a girl in Haven a clear purpose. Marked and clothed in red, she is expected to stand with three others against the evil blamed for the deaths of the village’s men. For her, that duty also promises a way to escape the disgrace attached to her mother. Yet strange visions and forbidden discoveries make the elders’ account of the world increasingly difficult to trust. A coven offers access to the very power she has been taught to fear. As she searches for the source of Haven’s violence, obedience and protection cease to look like the same thing. Her choice will reach beyond her own redemption to the lives of other women.
