Emily Rossi takes a holiday-film job at Red Tractor Farm hoping to restart a stalled acting career. She loves Christmas, but questions from a persistent reporter and her determination to remain closeted make the production more complicated than a seasonal escape. Dana Hoffman, still hurting after a breakup, has little patience for either the holiday or a film crew disturbing her quiet life. Showing Emily around is another obligation she does not welcome. Emily's enthusiasm gradually draws Dana out, and attraction develops alongside their changing views of each other. Both women must decide what they are willing to risk when the connection starts to matter.
