Chosen of Chaos

Evelyn has found a quiet life in a pirate port, far from the world she once conquered. An attack by mercenaries puts an end to that peace. In its aftermath, she has freed a group of enslaved people, acquired unexpected companions and begun looking for somewhere new to live. Her djinn assistant has also encouraged several of the women to become part of Evelyn's newly formed harem. A ship might offer a fresh start, but a notorious warlord cannot reappear without attracting attention. While the wider cluster worries about her return, Evelyn faces a more immediate question: what kind of life can she build with the people now beside her?
