Beyond the Breakwater

Reese Conlon and Tory King are building a shared future in Provincetown, but commitment does not remove every uncertainty. Tory’s pregnancy prompts new questions about the life she wants, while Reese struggles with circumstances she cannot control. Their responsibilities as sheriff and doctor keep bringing them into contact with other people’s crises as they navigate their own. Brianna Parker returns to town to join the sheriff’s department, carrying a decision made for love that may cost more than she expected. An accident, a suspicious fire, and competing attachments complicate a summer already full of change. Across intertwined relationships, these women must reconsider how to care for one another without confusing love with certainty, and how a chosen future can accommodate the unexpected.
