Alondra

Sixteen-year-old Alonda loves professional wrestling, but watching from the sidelines is no longer enough when she meets a group of teens hoping to stage their own show in Coney Island. Together, they create an arena for larger-than-life ambitions, and Alonda invents a fearless persona named Alondra. Inside the ring, she can try on a confidence that feels much harder to claim elsewhere. Outside it, her attraction to both the group's charismatic leader, King, and the warmly smiling Lexi leaves her uncertain about what she wants. As rehearsals, friendships and summer possibilities intertwine, Alonda must discover whether the courage she performs can become part of the person she is.
