Alice Rue Evades the Truth

Alice Rue has admired Nolan Altman without ever speaking to him. After she saves his life, an emergency responder mistakenly introduces her to his family as his girlfriend. Nolan is unconscious, his relatives are frightened, and correcting them feels harder than allowing the misunderstanding to stand a little longer. The Altmans welcome Alice with a kindness she has been missing, especially Nolan's sister Van. As their connection grows, Alice finds herself falling for the woman whose trust depends on a story she knows is false. Each delay makes telling the truth more painful. To pursue a real relationship, she must untangle the supposed one that brought her into Van's life.
