A Very Merry ER Fling

Carla has worked hard for every step of her medical career, and she has little patience for Nikki, her former medical-school rival. Nikki comes from an established medical family, making her seem like someone whose path has always been easier. When Nikki joins Carla’s emergency department over Christmas, avoiding her is no longer an option. Professional friction soon gives way to an attraction neither doctor can dismiss, and encounters away from their patients complicate Carla’s long-held assumptions. Working together forces her to reconsider the woman behind the privilege she resents.
