A Pirate’s Life for Tea

Kianthe and Reyna have a bookstore and tea shop to return to, but first they need to find dragon eggs to protect their hometown. Their search leads to a bargain with a local lord: help capture a troublesome river pirate, and he will help them secure their prize. The task becomes considerably less straightforward when they meet Bobbie, the constable pursuing Serina, and discover that the two women have a complicated shared past. With old feelings disrupting the chase, Reyna finds a new project in matchmaking while Kianthe tries to keep their original mission in view. The second Tomes & Tea adventure takes its established sapphic couple away from the shop and into river piracy, awkward reunions and the practical difficulties of helping other people sort out their hearts.
