Four mismatched university roommates discover that sharing a residence means sharing far more than a room. Friendship, desire and ambition collide as they negotiate campus hierarchies and the consequences of impulsive choices. Shay and the other women face relationships that can unsettle the identities they are trying to build. The series includes substantial sapphic stories within its student ensemble, including Shay’s connection with Maggie in the second season, while keeping friendship and the messiness of university life at its centre. Sapphic storylines: seasons 1–2, including Shay and Maggie in season 2.
