Moiraine, a member of a powerful order of women who can channel magic, searches for a person whose destiny may save the world or destroy it. Her journey draws young villagers into a struggle shaped by prophecy, political rivalries and the return of an ancient threat. Her connection with Siuan Sanche carries both intimate history and public consequences. That sapphic relationship is a meaningful thread across the fantasy series, whose larger focus remains a wide ensemble and the battle over the world’s future. Sapphic storyline: Moiraine and Siuan across seasons 1–3, within the wider fantasy ensemble.
