Mich knows she has more to offer than the labels other people put on her. At her Xochimilco high school, becoming visible means challenging beauty standards, family expectations and a social order that rarely seems designed with her in mind. Her changing romantic feelings, including attraction to a girl, become part of a broader discovery of what she wants for herself. This Mexican coming-of-age comedy follows a confident but still-learning teenager as she claims space, makes mistakes and refuses to let popularity define her worth.
