A girls’ roller hockey team has to defend its place in a club that does not always take its ambitions seriously. Keeping the side alive means dealing with limited support, demanding adults and the personal tensions that arrive at practice with every player. Lorena, Gina and Flor bring different experiences of attraction and commitment into the same close circle. Their romantic lives matter alongside competition, family expectations and the search for independence. The Catalan drama makes the team a space where young women can make mistakes and challenge the roles assigned to them, with substantial sapphic stories woven through the wider ensemble rather than confined to a single special episode.
