Five longtime friends take their annual holiday under circumstances that make the familiar ritual feel newly urgent. This time, a series of challenges asks each woman to step outside the version of herself the others already know. For Alma and Carol, the trip brings feelings into focus that cannot easily be separated from years of friendship. Speaking honestly risks changing relationships that have seemed dependable for most of their lives. The Spanish ensemble drama moves between the pleasure of a shared escape and the harder truths waiting beneath it, giving its sapphic connection meaningful space within a story about intimacy, uncertainty and the courage to ask for more.
