Toronto’s electronic music scene promises connection, reinvention and the possibility of finding a place behind the decks. For Meagan, organizing an event becomes a way to turn her enthusiasm into something she can call her own. Meeting Hannah brings another kind of ambition into focus, and an attraction that feels exhilarating also makes the boundaries of their connection difficult to read. The second season follows that relationship closely, setting private longing against the noise and energy of a shared nightlife community. Other seasons shift their attention to different people, so Meagan and Hannah’s story forms a specific chapter in the series’ wider portrait of artists trying to be heard.
