A teenager who knows more about sexual theory than practical intimacy becomes an unlikely source of advice for his classmates. Around him, students discover that there is no single timetable for understanding desire, identity or the kind of connection they want. Ola’s feelings for Lily emerge as she begins to name her pansexuality and reconsider a relationship that no longer fits. Lily brings an imaginative world of her own, but turning attraction into a partnership still requires difficult conversations and room for each person’s needs. Their romance is a developed part of the second and third seasons of this broader ensemble about growing up and being honest with yourself.
