Elite Way School offers gifted young musicians a chance to be heard, but talent alone does not protect them from rivalries, class divisions or the demands of an audience. Drummer Andi enters that world with a guarded manner and feelings that become difficult to hide around Emilia. Their relationship grows through competition and changing loyalties, giving both women something to lose beyond a place in a band. The Netflix series carries the school’s musical legacy into a new generation, with an explicit sapphic romance inside its wider ensemble. Performing together requires trust, and the students repeatedly discover how easily ambition can unsettle the connections they depend on away from the stage.
