Four friends are pulled back together when someone begins using their secrets against them. In Rosewood, every message can change an alliance and every attempt to move on seems to reveal another piece of the past. For Emily Fields, the mystery runs alongside a personal story about coming out, finding confidence and deciding whom she can trust with her heart. Her relationships with Maya, Paige and Alison develop at different stages of the seven-season run. Emily’s sapphic life is a sustained part of a larger friendship-driven thriller, where romance can offer comfort while also becoming entangled with the pressures and deceptions surrounding the group.
