A protection officer and an MI6 operative join forces after a terrorist attack exposes a threat reaching into the political establishment. Vincent Taleb and Zara Taylor must work out whom they can trust as their investigation puts them and the people close to them at risk. Zara’s relationship with Théa gives the action thriller a continuing sapphic storyline involving one of its two protagonists. The romantic pairing belongs to Zara’s personal life, separate from her investigative partnership with Vincent.
